For Windows:

1. Install and then locate the file(otf file is preferred for Microsoft Office): Open your Downloads folder and find the font file you downloaded. 
2. Extract if necessary: If it's in a ZIP file, double-click to open it and then find the actual font file (it will have a .ttf or .otf extension). 
3. Install the font: Double-click the .ttf or .otf file. A font preview window will appear. Click the Install button at the top of the window. 
4. Use the font: The font will now be available in the font lists of your applications, such as Microsoft Word, once you restart the application.
